Recently there has been a huge increase in the number of companies and shops selling Multifuel and woodburning stoves, ESPECIALLY Online. Online dealers are tempting prospective stove purchasers with

plate"....."free delivery"......Free WHATEVER it is you
want....JUST GIVE US YOUR CARD DETAILS.... I'm going to open a can of worms here, and ALL these retailers and Online stores AREN'T going to thank me for it. Sorry, but its "time"! You buy a stove online.....Its £200 pound Cheaper than ANY Normal Shop....How do they do it?? SIMPLE.....NO BACK UP, NO WARRANTY (or very reduced or vague warranty).....NO ONE TO COME AND HELP YOU, NO "SHOP" FOR YOU TO COME AND TALK TO WHEN THE "Experienced Fitter" HAS COCKED IT UP!! Our Showroom here at KIBWORTH BEAUCHAMP "Fills Up" every day with people with THE SAME problems...... 1)......."We bought our stove Slightly Cheaper, ONLINE at www.stovesXXXX.com / www.wharehouseFULLOFwoodburners.com etc etc and it arrived broken/faulty/parts missing etc, and we rang/emailed them and they said Take It Up with Your Fitter or the Delivery Company!!.....Can you PLEASE help us, as you seem very knowledgeable and you are a Main Dealer for this stove we bought??. If we had known what we were up against we would have just got the stove and installation All from yourselves" 2)......"We bought the Stove from a local Stove shop (well, what i actually mean is a Hardware store/Plumbing centre /Garden centre...Toy shop), and when their fitter came out....who was recommended by them...to fit the stove, he didnt really know what he was doing, and the stove doesn't DRAW properly...or it seems to leak smoke etc etc....PLEASE can you help us??" 3)....."We bought the Stove ONLINE (or) FROM ANOTHER STOVE SHOP WHO DONT FIT(because they know THATS where the REAL effort is required!)...,and now we'd like you to come out and Fit the stove for us and Guarantee Everything and issue a HETAS Document.....and basically be there for when we need you!" 4)......."We bought the Stove from an ONLINE dealer and the fitter they promised to send out HASN'T turned up!.....we just don't seem to be able to get through to them......its like, Theyve Took the Money and Run!....Please can you help us?" Money...... We are to busy installing OUR OWN stoves for OUR OWN customers, to have the time to look after people who TOOK THE INTERNET PLUNGE!! We do hope you understand the problem for us here.....
